Hi everyone!

After reading this review, I purchased a pair of these headphones in one of Moscow e-shops with express delivery. And yeah, the’re great.

Very versatile and comfortable fesign with 2 single-side replacible cords included. The 3D axis feature, hard case and extra adapters let you take them everywhere and use with almost any source of music.

The sound is great actually, even better that I expected for the price. it still has that “bassy” style like in k24/k414 or k181, but bass here is significantly better, with great resolution and depth. Highs are not that great, lacking some volume and definition, but anyway all the cymbals sound very naturally.
The volume is very high, I found myself using only 3/4 of iPod’s volume while in the metro, and extra bass the speakers provide is really useful in loudy environments like that.

And now I understand why Victor’s review was so emotional. Once you put the headphones on – you immediately fall in love with them.

Hello!

Well, they got a sensetivity of 104 atleast.. but i would recommend the Cowon D2 to power those headphones. They are quite large.
But i wouldn’t recommend the IPOD, they are quite limited when coming to output power

Alright this question has nothing to do with these specific headphones but I was just wondering if a typical mp3 player (sansa, ipod, etc.) could power a pair oh headphones with an OHMS of 55? The headphones im refering to are the AKG K 242HD’s.

Ahh yes. The iAudio 7 would work really well with the K450

I also wanna get one for my MP3—iaudio 7, do U think is it best enough to show its performance? by the way, i m using sennheiser px100 currently! i m not that satisfied!

I would Recommend the Cowon D2 MP3 player for the 450’s.

The Cowon is really the best sounding best i have ever heard 2×37mw ffs!

I bought one in Germany for about 70 euro’s, and I must say that I’m impressed. I also bought a Sony S639F to feed it some tunes. Oh big head people, don’t buy it if your head is bigger then 62cm, mine just barely fits.

I would say that the K450 is more bang for the buck than the K430

thanks for the info! and I’m actually relieved that there are no batteries in the Headphone, sounds unneccesary.

if the K430 also an option or is this just the best?
